It is comprised of students and recent graduates who are interested in law and have demonstrated commitment to international issues. Today, ELSA is the world's largest independent law students association and it is represented in more than 200 law faculties in 35 countries across Europe, with membership in excess of 30.000 students and young lawyers. By supporting ELSA, CMS contributes to legal education and helps foster mutual understanding and promote social responsibility in law students and young lawyers. Consequently, we assist ELSA in developing young lawyers from a variety of international states and jurisdictions.

CMS is an official partner of the IMD business school in Lausanne. CMS teamed up with IMD in May 2006 to create the CMS Academy. CMS on Expo Real in Munich
As in recent years CMS will participate in Expo Real the International Commercial Property Exposition in Munich – Germany from 6 October till 8 October 2008 by offering several legal events. Expo Real is confirming its position as one of the most "must-attend" venues in the international real estate sector. The trade show stands for business networking across the world in projects, investments and finance. In 2007 Expo Real attracted more than 1,800 exhibitors from 43 countries and about 24,000 visitors from 77 countries.
