CMS is an official partner of the IMD business school in Lausanne. CMS teamed up with IMD in May 2006 to create the CMS Academy. IMD is ranked Number 1 in the world in the Financial Times' ranking of leading providers of executive education. IMD has been ranked first in the world in the Economist Intelligence Unit's latest survey of full-time MBA programmes.
The CMS Academy runs seminars and workshops on personal development, commercial and management skills for partners and lawyers from CMS firms across Europe. Wherever possible, we involve clients in our workshop activities, including as attendees of IMD's annual, flagship 'Orchestrating Winning Performance' programme, on which faculty and delegates from across the globe address the latest management thinking and practical, innovative business solutions.

CMS is a proud sponsor of The European Law Students' Association. ELSA is an international, independent, non-political, non-profit-making organisation run by and for students. It is comprised of students and recent graduates who are interested in law and have demonstrated commitment to international issues. Today, ELSA is the world's largest independent law students association and it is represented in more than 200 law faculties in 35 countries across Europe, with membership in excess of 30.000 students and young lawyers.
By supporting ELSA, CMS contributes to legal education and helps foster mutual understanding and promote social responsibility in law students and young lawyers. Consequently, we assist ELSA in developing young lawyers from a variety of international states and jurisdictions.
